Curiosity drives us and has fueled unlikely expeditions: across the ice, into the deep oceans, and to the moon. The Fram2 mission was one such expedition, during which, for the first time, a spacecraft with a human crew travelled across both polar regions of Earth.
My name is Rabea Rogge. I am an adventurer, researcher, and astronaut of the Fram2 mission. In this book, I'll take you on a brief journey through time and space, from fearless pioneers of the past to robotic explorers of tomorrow, with Fram2 right in the middle.
Join me for spaceflight training, float with the crew in weightlessness, and look back at Earth with me. We will talk about science, shifts in perspective, courage and mistakes, and also about how the profession of astronaut is opening up to private people like you and me. Together, we will design a robotic mission and create our own utopia. I invite you to marvel, reflect and dream with me. And to embark on your own voyage of discovery.
