Full-color facsimile of a manuscript conceived of by Francesco da Barberino, and produced in Padua between 1304 and 1309; the manuscript's cycle of illuminations was designed by Francesco, and features personifications and allegories rather than religious narratives; along with the canonical prayers, the book contains a previously unknown work by Francesco, an allegorical treatise on Hope; the manuscript is currently owned by the private collector Guido Rossi, of Milan.
