3-sätzige Suite für SATB Sax-Quartett. Der erste Satz verarbeitet ein Motiv aus 5 Tönen auf eine improvisatorische Art, während der zweite Satz, überschrieben "sempre cantabile", versucht, einen lyrischen Gegenpol zu den beiden Ecksätzen zu bilden. Im dritten Satz wird das ursprünglich 5-tönige Motiv kreativ mit Micro- oder Vierteltönen kompimiert. Obwohl das Werk vollständig notiert ist, sind die musikalischen Ideen und ihre Weiterentwicklungen eher improvisatorisch konzipiert. Ein anspruchsvolles Werk für professionelle Ensembles und sehr gute Schülerquartette. Ideal auch als zeitgenössisches Werk für "Jugend musiziert".Schwierigkeitsgrad: 4-5
