Torts have, for quite some time, attracted sustained attention and discussion in legal doctrine and judicature. These conference proceedings cover a variety of areas relating to current problems in tort law, presented by renowned scholars from Poland and Germany.

Heiderhoff, geb. 1966 in Wuppertal, Studium der Rechtswissenschaft in Trier, Regensburg und Utrecht, Referendariat in Berlin; seit April 1994 zunächst wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin, dann Assistentin und seit 2003 Oberassistentin an der Leipziger Juristenfakultät; Promotion 1997, Habilitation 2003, venia legendi für Bürgerliches Recht, Zivilprozessrecht, Europäisches Privatrecht und Internationales Privatrecht.
