Description
This book provides an introduction to the systems theory paradigm in social work, an integrated system of theories for social work that was developed gradually in Zurich from 1980 onwards. Drawing on practical examples, it presents theories that underpin professional social work. In addition to theories on people, social systems, power and social problems, the book also covers theories on the social work profession, professional practice and fundamental metatheoretical principles. The appendix contains a glossary of key terms from the paradigm. Freies Institut für Theorie und Praxis Sozialer Arbeit e.V. Leipzig
