juvenile's who are institutionalized in Juvenile Homes in kerala, India are often sidelined and neglected by the society- reinforcing the negative attitude that these children have towards themselves. The present study is an attempt to develop life skills of these neglected juveniles. Life skills are those abilities that enable the individual to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life. the aim of life skills development programme was to empower the juveniles with the skills not only to take responsibility for their own actions but also to develop their mental health and psychosocial competence. The study is an attempt to find out the nature of impact of Life Skills Development Programme on the psychosocial competence of juveniles in Juvenile Homes in Kerala.

Presently working as Assistant professor at Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science and management, Jaipur, india. She has developed standardized tools for measuring adolescents knowledge about life skills.
