Community Mediation in Nepal: Actors and Approaches is a field work based study carried out in 2010 to fulfill the partial requirement of Master Degree in Conflict Peace and Development Studies. As an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, community mediation is becoming popular in rural areas of Nepal, where justice is perceived as costly and out-of-the-way to common people. As a descriptive way, author elaborates the existing practice of community mediation program in Nepal including actors, approaches and coverage of program. This book shows direct relationship between community mediation and security and justice. Furthermore,book deals on common practice of community mediation as right and interest based approaches n Nepal, highlights theories of change, and stresses on wide range of working mechanism from actors to actors.
