Today, the social and solidarity economy (SSE) represents much more than a simple alternative model: it embodies a real necessity in the face of contemporary challenges. In a world marked by growing inequalities, major ecological crises and recurring economic instability, it is becoming imperative to rethink our modes of production, consumption and governance. This book is born of a deep conviction: that the SSE is a credible and hopeful response to building a fairer, more sustainable and more caring society. As an author committed to the dynamics of social transformation, my aim is to shed both theoretical and practical light on the potential of the SSE.
