Die Rg 29 steht unter dem traurigen Eindruck von Michael Stolleis' Tod und eröffnet mit einem Nachruf auf diesen großen Gelehrten. Im Recherche-Teil finden sich grundlegende Aufsätze zur Rechtstheorie (Marietta Auer) und zur Rechtsgeschichte als Geschichte von Normativitätswissen (Thomas Duve) neben einem Rückblick auf ein halbes Jahrhundert byzantinischer rechtshistorischer Forschung in Frankfurt (Wolfram Brandes). Drei foci versammeln Beiträge aus dem 25th Annual Forum of Young Legal Historians, zur Zirkulation von "legal books" im frühneuzeitlichen Iberoamerika sowie zur "oral history" als Methode der zeitgenössischen europäischen Rechtsgeschichte. Three foci bring together contributions from the 25th Annual Forum of Young Legal Historians on the circulation of "legal books" in early modern Ibero-America, and on "oral history" as a method of contemporary European legal history. A forum looks at Martti Koskenniemi's monumental work "The uttermost parts of the earth" from various perspectives, including a replica by the author. Numerous reviews from many eras and world regions and two marginalia conclude the volume.
