Description
»Power Purchase Agreements. Legal Basis and Special Features of Long-Term Electricity Supply Contracts for Price Hedging and Financing Renewable Energy Plants«: As a hedging instrument, power purchase agreements enable powerplant operators to finance projects and electricity consumers to purchase electricity at favorable long-term prices. PPAs also make it possible to verify the environmental benefits of electricity generation for the production of »green« hydrogen. National and European Law is subject to constant change. Contract design must be measured in particular against the standards of General Terms and Conditions Law as well as those of Antitrust, Capital Market and Commercial Law.
