Description
Metal-Organic Frameworks are typically composed of metal ions or clusters coordinated to organic ligands, resulting in one-, two-, or three-dimensional structures. MOFs are highly favored because of their unique surface properties, such as high surface area, porosity, pore size flexibility, ordered crystal structure and controllable compositions at molecular level which enable the even distribution of active components within the framework. The book focuses on synthesis, processing, properties and applications of MOF composites in energy storage, catalysis, carbon dioxide capture, drug delivery, and adsorption of heavy metals and dyes. It highlights relevant concepts on MOFs composite material's efficiency, current technologies, and future trends. Umer Rashid, SM Sapuan, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia.
