Full Description
This book, "Arduino IX: Edge Control for Remote, Smart Agriculture" explores applications in the rapidly evolving world of precision farming in smart agriculture and other related industries. The Arduino Team indicates the Arduino Edge Control is useful in the target areas of agriculture measurements, smart irrigation systems, and hydroponics. We explore these and other related concepts throughout the book. An understanding of basic circuit theory is an appropriate prerequisite for the book. The three main goals for the book are: explore accessible Arduino edge control products, learn the fundamentals of programming the Edge Control and its associated coprocessors the MKR WiFi 1010 and the MKR WAN 1310 using the Arduino IDE, and explore related sensors and interface concepts. We use multiple examples throughout the book and conclude with an instrumented smart greenhouse project.
