Jorge Pardo (b. 1963, Havana, Cuba) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work trespasses the boundaries of sculpture to explore art-related disciplines such as architecture and design. His work employs a range of media to revisit the aesthetics of modernism and put it in a new light. Traditional and radical at the same time, Pardo's installations engage different forms and materials to challenge the notion of space and public utility.
