Full Description
This English course for primary school children in Uganda consists of pupil's books, teacher's books with lesson plans and instructions to make puppets and word cards, wallcharts showing scenes from the books and reading cards with extra stories, and activities to practise the language learned. It aims to encourage children to learn English as a real language used for communication and to develop the ability to use both spoken and written English. The course builds up a familiar knowledge of vocabulary and grammar through familiar situations and extensive practice. Through the various components, the course continually uses and develops the language that the children have learned.
