This anthem by Mack Wilberg is lyrical, sweeping, and full of rich harmonies. With a text by David Warner that includes the repeated phrase 'we thank thee, Lord', this piece is a gentle but stirring prayer of gratitude. The texture builds from unison lower-voices to four-part homophony, before reducing to whole-choir unison for the final phrase.
