This book addresses flow separationwithin the context of fluid-structure interaction phenomena.  Here, newfindings from two research communities focusing on fluids and structures arebrought together, emphasizing the importance of a unified multidisciplinaryapproach. The book covers the theory, experimental findings, numericalsimulations, and modeling in fluid dynamics and structural mechanics for bothincompressible and compressible separated unsteady flows.
