In the past, various haiku poets have made similar attempts, but most of them have been limited to introducing the works of their own colleagues or aiming for overseas supremacy. This International Haiku Chronicle of Summer, however, is too unselfish. Mine Mukose devoted herself to seeing how people from different countries loved the same seasonal word and how they created their own works.
