This book focuses on advances in chemistry research. Chapter 1 provides an analytical review of the results of modern, rational methods of recycling and disposal of coke breeze (dust) of coke production. In Chapter 2 the role of chromatographic separation techniques, such as liquid chromatography (LC) and gas chromatography (GC), spectroscopy -including simple spectrophotometric assays, such as Folin Ciocalteu (FC) or ferric reducing antioxidant ability (FRAP) assays-, and mass spectrometry to characterize and assess honey botanical and geographical production origin are addressed by means of relevant examples. Chapter 3 explores the nature of aerosols, covering their particle shape, and size. Chapter 4 presents the fundamentals of the method, and the importance of method transfer by discussing the developments and efficiency gains in pharmaceutical analyses. Chapter 5 discusses the Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) study and 1-hydroxy, benzotriazole as a copper inhibitor. Finally, Chapter 6 examines the impact of controlled hydrolysis of whey protein concentrate (WPC) by three types of enzymes: digestive-trypsin, fungal-proteinase k, and bacterial-thermolysin on technological properties.
