Therese, an impoverished marquis' daughter, strives to become a lady-in-waiting amidst the escalating feud between the prince's consort candidates. One day, she receives a rose from the prince that slowly blooms into a deep red color! Yet it seems the other candidates have also received the same roses, pushing Therese to suspect a special meaning behind the changing color.
