Full Description
In The Last Resort the author creates an epic of its own,
echoing seminal writers of the past that inspired him to write as a form
of creative escapism in the first place. In a fantasy land of a fantasy
world somehow echoing and very much resembling ours, with customs and
traditions stemming from our history, legends and legendary creatures
attached; we are transported into one of kind tourists attraction; an
eccentric mix of real and unreal campsite, where an upper world visibly
shows signs of picturesque humanly corrupted country living and an
underground made of caves inhabited by folk elves creatures aspiring to
be integrated with the rest of the population and ultimately reign. This
world created by the author inspires our exploration as readers; here
everyday life entwines with fragments of superpower espionage, mystery,
seasonal ceremonies, rites and rituals, anthropomorphic pagan gods,
goddesses of the natural elements and supernatural entities of
otherworldly dimensions, overseeing, controlling and watching over the
unfolding of stories of the locals and non-locals, in a challenge for a
last resort, a quest for the leadership at the top.
