Die Autoren des vorliegenden Heftes mit Marimba-Soli waren Mitglieder der Jury des Percussion-Wettbewerbs in Luxemburg 1996. Inspiriert von den technischen Fertigkeiten, der Atmosphäre und den musikalischen Eindrücken entstanden 7 in Charakter und Schwierigkeitsgrad sehr unterschiedliche Stücke. Eine Sammlung, die einen europäischen Querschnitt durch die Schlagzeugszene des klassischen Bereichs und darüber hinaus verschiedene Zugänge zu dem Instrument Marimba zeigt.

The authors of the booklet presented here containing solo pieces for marimba were jury members of the percussion competition held in Luxembourg in 1996. Under the influence of the technical skills, the atmosphere and the musical impression, 7 pieces were composed whose characters and levels of difficulty vary considerably.
