This book presents the select proceedings of the International conference on Ground Improvement, Landfills and Sustainability, GLS-2025, organized by IGS Bengaluru Chapter in association with the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) during July 18-19, 2025. The conference brought together engineers, practitioners, scientists, students, researchers, manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and regulators from both the private and public sectors to share their knowledge, expertise and experience in the discipline of geotechnical engineering. The main conference themes were Ground improvement and geosynthetics, Geoenvironmental engineering, Risk and reliability, Forensic geotechnical engineering, Sustainability and pavement geotechnics, all themes related to the stability, reliability and sustainability of geotechnical systems. This book covers the latest trends in these topics and provides future directions and solutions to the most pressing problems of geotechnical engineering.
