This book aims to explore a variety of issues related to urban regeneration. Throughout the course of the discussions, important questions are raised in order to examine the social, economic, and spatial aspects of city rebuilding.
The book is separated into three sections. The first section discusses the global perspective on urban regeneration and the processes of city rebuilding in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. The second section focuses on developing regeneration strategies for Allahabad, an important historical city in India. The city is home to the University of Allahabad, which is often referred to as the Oxford of the East for its high-quality education.
