Agricultural innovation and technology (AgTech) have shown real promise in transforming agriculture and overcoming some of the obstacles to food security. However, it remains challenging to scale up agricultural innovations into sustainable and profitable businesses. FAO has launched an initiative to assess existing impediments and identify options to improve the enabling environment. The assessments evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each AgTech ecosystem
