Amen ist ein von Horace Silvers The Preacher beeinflusster medium-up Tempo Gospel-Swing. Mike Titlebaum hat die bluesigen Melodies, die im Laufe des Arrangements weiter entwickelt werden, mit einem swingenden Shuffle-Rhythmus unterlegt, der zuerst von den Posaunen in der Einleitung vorgestellt wird. Es gibt ein notiertes Posaunen-Solo, aber der Solo-Teil kann für jedes beliebige Instrument geöffnet werden. Amen basiert auf der gleichnamigen Etüde aus Jim Snideros Jazz Conception Reihe.Schwierigkeitsgrad: 3

Amen is a medium up-tempo gospel-swing, influenced by Horace Silver's The Preacher. Mike Titlebaum underlaid the bluesy melodies, developed throughout the arrangement, with a driving shuffle rhythm, first introduced by the trombones in the intro. There is a written trombone solo included but the solo section can be opened up for any other instrument.
