Unbegleitetes 3sätziges virtuoses Saxophon-Werk. Eingespielt von Norman Des Chenes (Conventus Musicus CM 105).Eine weit geschwungene Melodie eröffnet in sehr langsamen Tempo das erste Stück. Ein motorischer Presto-Teil unterbricht jäh die Stimmung. Dies wiederholt sich - unterschiedlich gewichtet - einige Male im Verlauf des Satzes. Eine kurze lebhafte Coda beschließt den Monolog.In "Gegensätzliches" werden verschiedene Vogelruf-Modelle gegeneinander ausgespielt, einem Mobile vergleichbar.Virtuoses Laufwerk, Flatterzunge und Rubato-Spiel kommen im abschließenden Presto zum Tragen.Schwierigkeitsgrad: 5
