Description
(Text)
Why Gordon Matta-Clark? A third of a century after his death, the star of Gordon Matta-Clark (1943-1978) continues rising inexorably. He is one of those rare artists who is both an artists' artist, one who is first and foremost appreciated by his artist colleagues, and an architects artist. This applies not only to his contemporaries, but also to new generations of artists and architects who see him as a point of reference, and who quote and paraphrase his works. There has also been activity in the research field. The collection here provides a broad spectrum of studies about Matta-Clark: recognised experts on his work present their research and formulate new questions.
