In his collages, the Berlin architect Klaus Theo Brenner—who coined the term "Stadtarchitektur," or urban architecture—engages with both the urban mix and public space. The collages reflect a broad spectrum—sometimes coming closer to his office's projects, sometimes less so. What they have in common is an atmospheric compression and the elaboration of theatrical qualities.
