Die Fotografin geht den Spuren ihrer Vorfahren in sensiblen Portrats nach.Als Enkelin einer Familie mit sudetendeutscher Herkunft geht Yvonne Most ihren familiaren Wurzeln fotografisch nach. Dabei entdeckt sie Verbindungen von kollektiven Erfahrungen aus Spuren der Erinnerung und historischen Recherchen. Ihre Fotoserie eroffnet einen neuen Blick auf eine Gegend, eine Landschaft mit verwachsenen Narben, die sich stetig weiterentwickelt.Die Fotografin interessiert sich für das Unfertige, die Fehlstellen und das, was am Rand passiert oder auch nicht passiert. Die Fotoserie wirft Fragen nach der eigenen Biografie auf und ermoglicht den Betrachtenden, jenes Bedürfnis nach alter und neuer Heimat zu reflektieren. Yvonne Most (1981) studierte Fotografie an der Kunsthochschule Halle und an der Ostkreuzschule in Berlin und arbeitet als freischaffende Fotografin für zahlreiche Magazine, wie Neon, Nido und ZEIT Campus und als Dozentin, unter anderen bei C/O Berlin.

With sensitive portraits the photographer traces the roots of her ancestors.
As the granddaughter of a family from Sudetenland, Yvonne Most pursues her family roots photographically. In doing so, she discovers connections to collective experiences from traces of memory and historical research. Her photo series opens up a new view onto a region, a landscape with deeps scars, which is constantly evolving.
The photographer is interested in the incomplete, the imperfections, and what happens or does not happen on the periphery. The photo series raises questions about the artist's own biography and enables the viewer to re ect on his or her need for an old and new homeland. Yvonne Most (b. 1981) studied Photography at the Kunsthochschule Halle and the Ostkreuzschule in Berlin and works as a freelance photographer for numerous magazines, including Neon, Nido, and ZEIT Campus, and as a lecturer at, among others, C/O Berlin.
