The alpine herdsman on Engstligenalp has injured himself and Globi is standing in for him. There is a lot to learn and many new things to discover. He spreads cow dung on the pastures and drags huge bales of hay. He also learns to yodel and how to swing a flag. And he deals with cheeky cows and meets dwarves and a giant. Together with Globi, the children learn a lot about living and working on the alp.

Jürg Lendenmann, 1949 in Zürich geboren. Nach dem Biologie-Studium arbeitet er als Allrounder (Wissenschaft, Layout, Mac-Support) in einer Pharma-Handelsfirma. 2000 Weiterbildung zum Internet-Publisher. 2001 macht er eines seiner Hobbys das Schreiben zum Beruf. Neben seiner Teilzeit-Tätigkeit als Redaktor bei einem Verlag im Gesundheitswesen schreibt er ab 2006 die Verse für Papa Moll und Globi. Der Oerliker Verseschmied ist auch begeisterter Amateur-Jazzer.Daniel Frick arbeitet als selbständiger Illustrator in Zürich. Er ist gelernter Grafiker und war in diversen Werbeagenturen tätig. Seit bald zehn Jahren gehört er zum Kollektiv der Globi-Zeichner. Illustriert hat er u.a. «Globi und die Roboter» aus der Globi-Wissen Reihe und den Globi-Klassik Band «Globis Abenteuer in Rom».
