Johann Sebastian Bach war Organist in Arnstadt, Mühlhausen und Weimar, außerdem Kapellmeister am Hof in Köthen und ab 1723 Thomaskantor in Leipzig. Johann Sebastian Bach stammte aus einer großen Musikerfamilie und war der bedeutendste Komponist des Barock.
