Description
(Text)
Competency-based measures are increasingly gaining prominence as an important recourse for engendering the professional development of project managers (PMs) in construction management practice. However, very little literature exists in developing countries, particularly those south of the Sahara towards promoting this agenda. This book identifies the competency profiles that PMs in Ghana can draw to valiate their performance in mass-house building projects. Property developer can also use the book as a knowledge-base to help recruit, monitor and promote professional development of PMs who share the requisite competencies, especially at the construction phase of the management of mass-house building projects. The book is written in an international perspective and reflect the circumstances in many developing countries.
