The achievement of this monograph would not have been possible without expertise of Departments of Zoology and Chemistry,JKUAT and BCED at icipe-African Insect Science for Food and Health, respectively. The Management at ICIPE enabled the study. Special gratitude to Dr. A. Hassanali (Emeritus Scientist-ICIPE),Professor of Chemistry,Kenyatta University, for his immense contribution and input to this work from the time of conceptualizing the project,constructive advice during the actual bench-work and positive critiques of this write-up.
