Banana is the world's largest monoecious, monocarpic, monocotyledonous perennial herbs belonging to the family Musaceae with about 1000 varieties in the World .It is attaining a commercial importance in many a country of the tropical world.Banana is a heavy feeder of nutrients and requires large quantities of nutrients for its growth, development and yield. But continuous use of inorganic sources of nutrients has adverse affects on soil have made it necessary to think for integration of different sources of nutrients not only for more production but also to sustain soil health . Therefore, the highest possible efficiency in use of fertilizers as well as maximum use of available alternative sources of nutrients are need to be ensured. Integrated nutrient management has been gaining popularity all over the world. Keeping in view, the present book is written on the basis of the original research and it explains with facts and figure about the influences of integrated nutrient management on banana.The book will certainly be useful for researchers as well as growers and students.
