On the way he meets wandering bathers, journeymen on the road, monks, jugglers and pilgrims - and Agnes, Kunibert's daughter! Agnes, who is anything but a spoilt damsel, decides to help Richard. An exciting medieval adventure begins! With many illustrations and factual information about the Middle Ages. Frank Schwieger, im Hauptberuf Latein- und Geschichtslehrer an einem Gymnasium in Schleswig-Holstein, ist seit 2009 Autor erfolgreicher Kinderbücher. Darin taucht er am liebsten in die abenteuerliche Welt der fernen Vergangenheit ab. Anne Bernhardi, geb. 1981 in Leverkusen, studierte an der HAW Hamburg Illustration. Seitdem ist sie als freiberufliche Illustratorin und Grafikerin mit einem besonderen Faible für historische Themen tätig.
