Silke Lambeck ist in Berlin aufgewachsen, hat Germanistik und Theaterwissenschaften studiert und wurde schließlich Journalistin. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren schreibt sie außerdem Bücher für Kinder und Erwachsene, für die sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurde, u.a. mit einer Nominierung für den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in Berlin. Barbara Jung wurde 1968 in Karlsruhe geboren. Sie studierte an der Fachhochschule Mainz Kommunikationsdesign und arbeitet seit ihrem Abschluss als freiberufliche Illustratorin. Heute lebt sie in Frankfurt am Main und arbeitet für verschiedene Kinderbuchverlage. Sie mag am liebsten Geschichten mit schrägem Humor und ebensolchen Charakteren.www.barbara-jung.de
