Dieter Huber hat als Bildender Künstler über Jahre die Kulturgeschichte nach Aspekten von LIEBE durchforstet und die umfassende Arbeit AMANTI Spiele der Liebe mit 366 Bildern entwickelt. Die Texte zu AMANTI sind eine subjektive Sammlung über Zeit und Ort hinweg aus den Bereichen Philosophie, Poesie, Kultur, Soziologie, Kunst, Religion und Oper sowie aus Liebesbriefen und Songtexten. Bezugnahmen zu früheren Werkzyklen und visuelle Zitate aus der Kunstgeschichte vervollkommnen diese Spielarten der Liebe. Den Bildern werden in der zweibändigen AMANTI-Publikation jeweils die Autorinnen und die Passagen des verwendeten Texts gegenübergestellt. Die im Taschenformat gestaltete "Liebes-Anthologie" ist als Impulsgeber gedacht, für eigene Phantasien und Erfahrungen im unbegrenzten sowie beglückenden Reich der Liebe.

As a visual artist, Dieter Huber has sifted through the history of culture for aspects of LOVE and developed the extensive work AMANTI Spiele der Liebe with 366 pictures over several years. The texts about AMANTI are a subjective collection from the fields of philosophy, poetry, culture, sociology, art, religion, and opera, as well as from love letters and song texts that transcends both time and place. References to previous cycles of works and visual quotations from the history of art round off these various forms of love. In the two-volume AMANTI publication, the pictures are presented opposite the respective author and the passages of texts used. This "anthology of love" in paperback format is conceived as a source of inspiration, for one's own fantasies and experiences in the boundless and exhilarating realm of love.
