McDonald: Properties and Regulation of Calcium Channels in Muscle Cells:The objective of this review is to present an update on the properties and regulation of the classic L-type Ca channel in heart, smooth muscle and skeletal muscle cells. H. Porzig: Pharmacological Modulation of Voltage-Dependent Calcium Channels in Intact Cells:This review concentrates on the attempts that have been made to correlate an observed functional change with some defined direct interaction of an extracellular administered drug with one of the various types of voltage-dependent Ca channels.
