A growing interest towards alternative energetics is a global trend. This highly innovative industry is probably the one to replace fossil fuels in the future completely thanks to a capability for self-replenishment over time. With growing perspectives of alternative energy sources in the world, an analysis of national innovation systems in green energetics seems to demonstrate why one countries have gone so far in cutting-edge technologies than other. In this book, author tries to reveal an actual status of alternative energy industry in Russian Federation and elicit a fact why having both economic and territorial potential Russia demonstrates weak progress in exploitation of such opportunities.
