Maxillofacial prosthetics is a specialized branch of dentistry and facial rehabilitation that focuses on the design, fabrication, and fitting of artificial replacements for structures of the face, head, and neck. These prostheses are tailored to meet the unique needs of patients who have experienced facial deformities, defects, or losses due to various causes such as trauma, surgery, congenital conditions, or disease. Library dissertation, we will explore the various aspects of maxillofacial prosthetics, including its history, applications, materials, fabrication techniques, clinical procedures, challenges, and future directions. I Dr Ganesh ram Kumar completed my undergraduation from CSI Dental College Madurai, currently pursuing my post-graduation at SRM Dental College Chennai in the field of maxillofacial prosthodontics.
