Description
Gwani, the ancient city of Tera land was a strong force behind the administrative structure and historical development of Nyimalti- Tera Towns in Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State, Nigeria. The town was the main root of the present administrative structures in the present Yamaltu Emirate. The contribution of Gwani toward the establishment and formation of the first District in Yamaltu Deba local Government Area of Gombe state cannot be over emphasized. It was the transfer of Gwani Enclave from Biu to Gombe Division, that culminated the sowing of the seed that created a District for the Nyimalti in 1937 which was placed under the supervision of Wazirin Gombe before the first indigenous District Head of Nyimalti District in person of Muhammad Bello, Sarkin Gwani was appointed. Before and during the colonial era Gwani was in the fore front under the Name Gwani Enclave. Mohammed Hassan is a Graduate of Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance from University of Maiduguri Nigeria. He also holds a master's in business administration, MBA with specialization in finance from Gombe State University Nigeria. Mr. Mohammed is presently working in a Bank in Nigeria as Branch Manager.
