Description
The manufacturing processes of metal wires such as continuous casting and wire drawing will be presented in this book. In addition, the metallurgical aspect of these processes and the various research works related to these processes will also be presented to better understand the scientific aspect of manufacturing metal wires. The book is structured to allow engineers and graduate and postgraduate students to know all the techniques of manufacturing metal wires either on an industrial scale or on a research laboratory scale. Its content is inspired by my scientific knowledge as a university scientific researcher and my contacts with the metal wire manufacturing industry for more than thirty years. Zakaria Boumerzoug is a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Biskra. He was head of the mechanical engineering department at the University of Biskra. Teacher at the University of Biskra, from 1992 until our days. He has published more than 90 research articles, two books. He has a patent.
