This book is organized under six chapters as in the following.Chapter - 1: Introduction: In this chapter, introduction on composites, metal matrix composites, EDM principle, process parameters, effect of process parameters on machining responses, applications, introduction of parametric optimization methods and plan of present work are presented.Chapter - 2: Literature Review: This chapter presents the contributions of different researchers on fabrication and properties of an AMMCs, EDM of materials and optimization of process parameters. Chapter - 3: Development of Hybrid AMMCs: This chapter deals with materials, preparation of hybrid AMMCs and testing of composites , selection of best composite for machining.Chapter - 4: Wire electrical discharge machining of hybrid AMMC: This chapter deals with EDM setup, design of experiments, conducting experiments and measurement of responses.Chapter - 5: Selection of EDM optimal process parameters of EDM: This chapter deals with selection of optimal process parameters using GRA- Taguchiand Fuzzy-Taguchi methods by analyzing the machining responsesChapter - 6: Conclusions Dr. M. Hari Prasad received his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, M. Tech in Heat Power: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in 2008 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(Anantapurcampus) Hyderabad,and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2023 from Sri Venkateswara University.
