Description
(Text)
"The Same Hesitant Rhythm" chronicles Brittany
Kusserow's experiences with varying spiritual
ideaologies and practices. Throughout the book she
finds personal similarities and parallels amidst a
topic that is sometimes frought with anger and
one-sided debate. Her travels are not only through
geographical location but through time, expressing
the idea that many aspects of life and spirituality
connect and cross over, regardless of chronological
order. The best example of this that she can give
is to share the tale of her partner's brother, who
on family puzzle night pockets one piece so he can
be the one to "finish" the puzzle. "First"
and "last" are only ideas. There are many ways of
telling stories, and many orders in which they may
come to completion, making the journey all the more
interesting.
