This handbook presents new procedures in endoscopic surgery. All techniques have been clinically tested. The contributors describe these operative procedures clearly, giving a detailed step-by-step account of the operations, instruments needed and layout of equipment and staff. The text is illustrated with computer-designed drawings. In a new style, these drawings give all of the necessary information concerning each individual operative step from both the endoscopic and conventional perspectives. Volume 2 focuses upon advanced procedures such as thoracic oesophageal resection and procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract, which were not covered in Volume 1.
