Full Description
This volume aims to provide a state-of-the-art review of high resolution ultrasound imaging systems in dermatology. It presents the essential theoretical and technical background of high-resolution physics and introduces the reader to the different applications of high resolution ultrasound. General guidelines for image interpretation are described and discussed by various research groups. Additionally, sonography of lymph nodes, intravascular sonography, ultrasound image pre-and post-processing and new morphological techniques such as three-dimensional computer reconstruction are discussed.
