Since 2005 Catherina G. Becker has been Senior Lecturer at the Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. She received her post-doctoral training at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zürich, and the University of California, Irvine, before becoming Director at the Centre for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg. Catherina Becker was awarded several prestigious fellowships. She is reviewer for numerous neuroscience journals.
