Egon Jonsson, PhD, Leader of the WHO Health Evidence Network, and former Director of SBU, is Professor of Health Economics at the Department of Medicine, Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine and, for 20 years, Co-editor of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care.
