Diese Systematische Theologie im Konzept entwirft im Dialog mit Philosophie und Naturwissenschaften eine Position zur Theologie anhand von Fragestellungen zu den Prolegomena, der Gotteslehre, Schöpfungslehre, Anthropologie, Christologie und Pneumatologie, Ekklesiologie, interreligiösem Dialog sowie Eschatologie. Ziel ist es, diese Themen im Lichte einer narrativ-relationalen Ontologie zu beleuchten, die sich dem trinitarischen Wirklichkeitsverständnis des christlichen Glaubens verpflichtet weiß. Wichtige Entwicklungen wie die Hinwendung zur Narration in den exegetischen Wissenschaften, der Fokus auf narrativen und trinitarischen Theologien in der Systematischen Theologie sowie die Basis eines modellbasierten, kritischen Realismus` im Rahmen des Dialogs zwischen Theologie und Naturwissenschaften fließen in die Hauptthese ein: Gottes Sein selbst ist ein relational-prozedierendes narratives Sein. Die perfekte kommunikative Liebesgeschichte, die Gott ist, schafft, erhält, versöhnt und vollendet die prozessual-relationale Narration der Welt in sich.

Markus Mühling develops the concept of a Systematic Theology in dialogue with philosophy, the sciences and the question of pluralism by discussing fundamental theology, the doctrine of God, the doctrine of creation, anthropology, Christology and pneumatology, ecclesiology, inter-faith dialogue and eschatology. It presents these topics in the light of a narrative-relational ontology, it is committed to the Trinitarian understanding of reality as presupposed in Christian faith and it draws insights from recent developments like the focus on the concept of story in the exegetical disciplines, narrative theology and model-based critical realism in the realm of the Dialogue between Theology and Science. The underlying main thesis, which shapes each locus can be expressed in two sentences: The divine essence is a relational-processing, narrative being. The perfect divine communicative love-story creates, sustains, reconciles and perfects the relational-emergent narration of the world in Godself.
