Die Arbeit untersucht die Verwirklichung der Prinzipien der Finanzmarktregulierung, insbesondere Anlegerschutz, Marktintegrität und Finanzmarktstabilität, bezüglich der Kryptowerteregulierung der MiCAR. Rechtsvergleichend wird dabei Bezug genommen auf die Regulierung in Deutschland und Malta vor dem Inkrafttreten der MiCAR. Regulierungsbedarf wird für nicht eigenständig regulierte Dienstleistungen des Stakings, Lendings und Liquidity Minings gesehen. »MiCAR Crypto Assets and the Principles of Financial Market Regulation. National Regulation in Malta and Germany within the European Multi-Level System«: This thesis examines the implementation of financial market regulation principles, in particular investor protection, market integrity and financial market stability, with regard to MiCAR's crypto asset regulation. A comparative legal analysis is made with reference to the regulations in Germany and Malta prior to the entry into force of MiCAR. The need for regulation is seen for staking, lending and liquidity mining services that are not independently regulated. Law studies in Frankfurt (Oder) and Berlin with a focus on corporate and commercial law, first state examination in 2015. Legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg (2016-2018), second state examination in 2018. LL.M. in European Business Law (University of Malta, 2019-2020). Practising as an attorney since 2018, since 2019 self-employed with a focus on civil litigation. Research associate at the University of Marburg (2020-2023). Since 2023, legal clerkship educator for civil and public law litigation in Berlin and Brandenburg, and since 2024, examiner for the state examination.
